It took only 5.5 weeks for the BBS team to test the BCBS file to go live and this meant that the Employer did NOT have to process any Open Enrollment Changes for medical and dental!! They LOVED that! The Dearborn file took 11 weeks, but it had to be built from scratch and tested, so I think this timeframe is fantastic!! While the client did have to process Open Enrollment Changes for this carrier, it was not as big of a chore since they didn’t have to do Blue Cross!! This file is still going to be up and running as of the Renewal/Anniversary date with the carrier! They are very pleased. BKCW loves that we were only contacted a few times and that BBS handled everything!!! We will definitely discuss this option with a lot of our clients looking to simplify their HR workload!
I had the greatest experience working with BBS on a case last month. We had a very tight timeframe and had to get the plans built out even before we had final confirmation on the products. This is not ideal and usually this kind of build would occur once all decisions were made. BBS and I both knew we were taking a risk but we wanted to make sure that the build out would not be the hold up. I provided the information to Karishma at BBS and we were on a call the next day walking through the expectations of the build. BBS was VERY knowledgeable about building the Allstate products and I felt very confident. We were already to submit the case for system review when we found out that not all of the products would actually enroll. So after updating some of the requirements BBS worked double time to get the Allstate products ready for review. We got the case reviewed and enrollment kicked off without a hitch. This would not have been possible without the expertise of BBS. Can’t wait for the next case so I can work with you again.
The City of Durham started using Employee Navigator in January, 2018. Broker Builder Solutions implemented the enrollment system for our company. In a very short window of time, the data from our previous enrollment tool had to be populated into Employee Navigator, all business rules created for the current benefit year and the open enrollment system created, tested and implemented. Open Enrollment for our current benefit year started April 14, 2018. BBS staff worked tirelessly to ensure our systems were functional when needed. They were professional, courteous and very patient in the planning meetings. Our employees thought that using Employee Navigator as an enrollment tool was very easy to use. We wanted an integration between Employee Navigator and our ERP system.
