Daphney Michelle Smith founded Broker Builder Solutions, LLC in 2015, bringing more than 20 years of experience in benefits administration, technology, and client support. Her career spans roles at UnitedHealthcare, Pierce Group Benefits, Employee Navigator, and FlexAmerica (later acquired by PayFlex), where she developed deep expertise in benefits operations, implementations, and client management.

Known for her relationship-driven approach and passion for simplifying complex processes, Daphney built BBS to serve as a trusted extension of broker agencies. Under her leadership, the company delivers personalized, high-quality support grounded in integrity, accountability, and operational excellence.

Based in North Carolina, Daphney is also the founder of Women Who Uplift, a nonprofit organization focused on mentorship and empowering women.
